Donald Perry, born on July 4, 1945, departed this world on December 17, 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him. A resident of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Donald’s great his love for his family, his country and his unending kindness were indeed the most beautiful things about him. Donald leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends who mourn his passing. He is survived by his children, Donald Wesley (Kathy) Perry, Andrea Renee (Henry) Worster, Rebecca Ruth Meadows, and Alicia Noel (Steven) Taylor. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Chessa Bennett, Wesley Perry, Abigail Perry, Jason Wilson, Nicholas Gray, Justin Perry, and Jordan Perry. His great-grandchildren, Adian Bennett, Alianna Bennett, Nissa Perry, Nia Perry, Nathan Perry, Niko Perry, and Lucius Perry, will grow up hearing stories of his service to his country and love for his family. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Shirley Perry, Reba Teague, and brother-in-law, Robert (Kathy) Centers an his special niece Ruby Owens. His special friends, Rev. Marion Cook and Patsy Cook, will remember him fondly. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Perry, his parents, Andrew and Leona (Moses)Perry, his son-in-law, Jody Meadows, his brothers, George, Virgil, Hubert, James, and Danny Joe Perry, and his sisters, Dorothy Towe, Lucy Owens, Vivian Moses, and Stella Perry. Donald was a proud member of the United States Air Force where he served his country in Vietnam. After his time in the Air Force, he joined the Army National Guard. All together Donald spent more than 20 years serving his country. Services to honor Donald’s life will be held at Croley Funeral Home, 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, followed by the funeral on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Mike Moses and The Rev. Marion Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Little Wolf Creek Church of God in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
