Lloyd Herbert Wells, 77, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024. He was born August 18, 1947 to the late Buford H Wells and Della Mae Reed Wells in Winchester. He was a retired Firefighter/EMT with Winchester Fire Dept., lifelong farmer and member of Right Angle Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his children; Christina Lynn Martin (Wells), Anthony Lloyd Wells and Robert (Angie) Stull; grandchildren; Joetta (Logan) Scott, Richard Austin Martin, Wyatt Colton Wells, Jackson Levi Wells, Liam Brody Wells. Anthony Lloyd Wells, II (Madison), Dakota Wells (Jaden), Jesse Ray Stull (Paige); five great-grandchildren , a sister Garnetta Parker and several nieces and nephews. Also his second family, The Eickers Amish Community. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Andrew Edward Stull; brothers Heardin, Earl and Melvin Wells; sister Dorothy Wells Smith, and the mother of his children, Joyce Ann Brock Stewart. His love and passion was farming, carrying on in his father’s footsteps and passing it on to future generations was his dream. He was a devoted father and loving grandfather to all near and far. His service will be Friday, November 29 at 2:00 pm at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, with visitation from noon until the hour of service, pastor Chris Williams presiding. Pallbearers: Richard Austin Martin, Richard R. Martin, Jr., Anthony Lloyd Wells II, Bill Jones, Jason Spivey and Scottie Satterwhite. Honorary pallbearers: Logan Scott, Marcus Molands and Jesse Ray Stull. Burial in Log Lick Cemetery.
