Roger Ray, age 55, a resident of Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at ARH Prestonsburg in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Roger was born September 3, 1969 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Roger Ray Sr, and Yvonna Burchett.
Roger was a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grand father.
Those left to mourn includes wife, Melinda Nester Ray, daughters, Chelsea Bailey and fiance Andrew Poe of Salyersville, Kentucky, Letasha Bailey and fiance John Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Steven Putman Jr, of Inez, Kentucky, sisters, Shantel Ray Castle of Indiana, Shenna Ray of Paintsville, Kentucky, brothers, Cody Ray of Wheelright, Kentucky and Coby Ray of Tennessee, six grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Memorial services for Roger Ray will be conducted Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Pastor Jonathan William will deliver comforting words on the day of service.
